Better heart valves for the future

Solidified is a biomedical engineering company started with the goal of addressing the current limitations in heart valve replacements. Current valve replacement options are flawed either requiring lifelong blood thinners, degrading over time, or have limited availability. Solidified aims to create the ideal heart valve replacement. One that is durable, does not require blood thinners, and is available for all patients who need it. 

Solidified was established with a diverse team including cardiac surgeons, surgical residents, and medical students. Using a diverse group of perspectives and a large support team, Solidified has developed a tissue engineered heart valve that addresses the limitations of today's options. Through rigorous scientific research and development, Solidified Inc hopes to improve the quality of life and outcomes of patients who need a heart valve replacement.
